- Diameters greater than 7" are Gored
| Construction Type | Description |
Stitch Welded | This elbow is fabricated in two halves, welded together by a stitch weld on the throat and the heel of the elbow. It has a very smooth interior. |
Gored Segmented | The gores are mechanically locked together and then caulked for sealing. Any gored elbow heavier than 18-gauge is butt-welded construction.(Call for more information.) |
Tubed Elbows | Heavy wall tubed elbows are fabricated from continuous tubing, 14-gauge galvanized and stainless steel. These elbows are used in heavy wear situations and material conveying lines. |
All Elbows, Branches, Transitions, and Reducers utilize I-Duct collars, which allow for an additional adjustability feature. Standard ducting can be cut and inserted into the collar on these fittings, allowing for more adjustablility. These connections require ordering an additional O-Ring for sealing purposes. Also remember to insert duct into connection going with the air flow.
